Aims and Scope:

The conference will focus on (1) novel methods for studying soil physical properties, (2) finding the relationships between soil properties and processes, and (3) the use of the properties and the relationships for solving both practical and scientific environmental tasks. The focus will also be on (4) the application of various mathematical models for the interpretation of phenomena taking place in the soil, such as water flow, heat transport, and transport of various substances (nutrients, pollutants, colloids) in soils.

Call for abstracts:

Authors are invited to submit a one-page abstract for an oral or poster presentation by email (to klement@af.czu.cz) by January 19, 2024. Please specify the name of the presenting author and the topic, and indicate preference for presentation (oral or poster). Authors will be notified of acceptance of the reviewed abstracts before January 19, 2024.

A booklet of abstracts will be available for the participants at the conference. Selected full papers based on presentations will be able to be published after the conference in peer reviewed journals:

Registration:

The registration fee of 150 EUR (3600 CZK for participants from the Czech Republic) includes coffee breaks, lunches, a booklet of abstracts, and a social event. A confirmation (including an invoice for the registration fee) will be sent to the participants.

Late registration (standard registration fees of 150 EUR, before January 19, 2024): 200 EUR (5000 CZK for participants from the Czech Republic)
